Board of Directors
Section A – Powers The Board of
Directors has the power to elect, replace or appoint officers or committee
members; decide the ILDA budget; the calling and conduct of the convention; and
the power to make decisions on all ILDA business and activities for the purpose
of the management of the ILDA and other things explained elsewhere in the
Constitution and its Handbook.
1. Meetings of the Board of Directors shall be called as needed
by the president for the purpose of attending to ILDA business. 2. Two officers and at least five other members shall
constitute a quorum. 3. At the regular annual meetings of the Board, action shall
include: a. Presentation of the budget and a report on the ILDA financial
condition by the Finance Committee. b. Recommendations from the Law Committee for the purpose of
reviewing and acting upon resolutions and Constitutional changes. c. Plans and programs for raising funds for the ILDA. d. Reports from all regional presidents on the ILDA business activities and on-going operations; this shall include requests, recommendations, resolutions and grievances directed to the Board from their regions congregations and/or fields.
